This meticulously designed resort is set on 50 acres of wild land that’s being thoughtfully landscaped to be a paradise. It’s probably the first of its kind in the region, going by the sheer size and growing expansion that aims to introduce the concept of experiential hospitality. “Noune,” in Angami dialect means tranquil and serene. And true to its name, Noune Resort transports guests to another world -- midst greenery and a calm pastoral setting with a still water body surrounding the property. Promoted by Naithu Group of Hotel and Resorts, an established Naga chain of hospitality, there are four cottages, and each cottage is an independent unit that can accommodate a family, or a group of friends. The resort is currently on an expansion mode and about 7-8 new cottages are underway to make more rooms for travellers. Floating restaurant in the middle of the lake are some of the new elements that will be added in times to come.

ROOMS
Neatly done-up rooms with plenty of wood work that spell warmth and comfort awaits weary travellers. Cottages come with private balconies and sit-out area for morning cuppa and in the evenings do watch sun set sipping your drink. Wake up to the sight of wild geese floating gracefully across the water. All the rooms open up to a manicured lawn where children can run and play around. DINING
The in-house restaurant is where guests can kick back and enjoy sumptuous Naga fare. Naga thali with the signature pork/fish/chicken cooked with or without bamboo shoot and a selection of greens and paired with rice, is a typical comfort food that anyone would vouch for. A sprinkling of Indian and Chinese also feature in the menu for those looking for familiar flavours. The restaurant is within the grounds, as well as, a morung (meeting-place in Naga traditional culture) can be accessed to get a taste of the local cuisine - in addition to the continental fare. At the Noune Resort, a promising endeavour still in a fledgling state, a few new projects have already been initiated. This includes the construction of a lounge area that will be catering delicacies from around the world.
EXPERIENCES
A dreamy location in the midst of nature allows visitors to enjoy long nature walks and cycling rounds (available for rent) and even offsite meetings for corporates. Make use of the many lake-related activities offered by the hotel at an additional price. Like any resort, it’s all about the daytime activities. Largely targeted at visitors who are travelling in large groups or, with their families - each homestead can accommodate up to 12 people. EXPERIENCES
The villa, located in the residential area of Sovima, a reasonably large village, is a short walk away from a playing area for children. Quiet and away from the bustling noise of Dimapur which is more or less a busy trade hub, the villa is a getaway even for locals. One can either head out to get a glimpse of the village life or just stay back and enjoy some of the in-house services like spa, gym and swimming pool.
